Sidney Franklin Morgan, age 86, of N5621 Hickory Hill Lane, Town of Green Lake, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 14, 2004.
Sidney was born February 5,1918 in Chicago IL, a son of Myrtle Mary (Riley) and Clarance Hall Morgan. He graduated from Lake Geneva High School and Beloit College and married Betty Jean Rissetter in August of 1942. Sidney was employed as a Manager of a family owned IGA grocery store in the Evanston, IL area. The Morgan family enjoyed having a family home for many years on Lake Geneva and on Green Lake. Sidney retired and moved to the Green Lake area in 1986.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 62 years; Betty of Green Lake, two loving daughters; Mary Libby of Green Lake and Lynn (Tom) Mulder of Clearwater, FL, four loving grandchildren; William and Jeffrey Libby of Green Lake and Scott (Joanne) Mulder and Todd (Laurie) Mulder and two great-grandchildren; Justin and Allyssa Mulder all of Tampa, FL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, August 17, 2004 with visitation from 10:00-12:00 all at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Reverend Karen Gygax Rodriguez will officiate. Interment will be at Dartford Cemetery, City of Green Lake. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society, Midwest Div. 3311 S. Packerland Dr. DePere, WI 54115.
