Sigmund P. Mlodzik, age 83, of Ripon, died Monday morning, May 14, 2001, at Parkview Care Center, Ripon.
He was born August 11, 1917, in Princeton, the son of Frank and Verna (Schultz) Mlodzik. He was educated in Princeton, and later served his country in the Army during World War II from Jan. 1942- Nov. 1945. Sigmund had worked in the factory at Speed Queen for several years, and was a member of St Patrick Catholic Church and the V.F.W. of Ripon.
Survivors include 2 sisters, Helen Relihan of Mars, PA and Mary Ann Draeger of Ripon; 2 brothers, Don Mlodzik of Berlin and Ken (Marie) Mlodzik of Santa Barbara, CA; 2 sisters-in-law, Georgia Mlodzik of Cedarburg and Dorothy Mlodzik of Milwaukee; nieces and nephews. His parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters-in-law preceded him in death.
Mass of Christian Burial for Sigmund P. Mlodzik will be Friday, May 18, 2001, at 11 a.m. at St Patrick Catholic Church with Fr John A. Schmitz officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 10-11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Town of Ripon. A memorial has been established in his name.
