Steven Owens Kwakkel, age 28, of Ripon, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at Ripon Medical Center in Ripon.
Steven was born on February 22, 1983, in Neenah, WI, the son of Steven Charles and Katherine Kay (Troudt) Kwakkel. He graduated from Ripon High School. Steven was self-employed as a mechanic.
Survivors include his parents, Steven Kwakkel from Markesan, WI and Katherine Troudt of Ripon, WI; one brother, Shane Kwakkel of Ripon, WI; one sister, Shannon Marie (Kelly) Peth of Ripon, WI; paternal grandmother, Rosemary Kwakkel of Ripon, WI; maternal grandmother of Barbara Troudt of Ripon, WI; aunts and uncles, Kathy (John) Kwakkel-Johnson, Sharon (David) Stobb, Robert Lee (Lisa) Kwakkel, Susan “Chicky” (Phil) Kasuboski, Christine (Jeff) Blackburn, Kelly (Bur) Zeratsky and Richard (Kristian) Troudt; two nephews, Brett and Brice Peth and numerous cousins and friends. Steven will be missed by all. Steven was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Richard Troudt; paternal grandfather, Gilbert Kwakkel; uncle, John E. Kwakkel and cousin, Michael Loughlin.
Visitation for Steven Kwakkel will be held on Friday, April 29, 2011, from 4 – 7:00 pm at Hillside Assembly, 656 W. Oshkosh St. Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral Service for Steven Kwakkel will be held on Friday, April 29, 2011, at 7:00 pm at Hillside Assembly in Ripon. Reverend Donald Deike will officiate. A memorial is being established in his name.
