Steven "Minnow" Miller

February 4, 1957 — June 30, 1997

Steven B. “Minnow” Miller, age 40, of the Town of Brooklyn,
died June 30, 1997, as a result of a boating accident. He was born on February 4, 1957, at home. He lived in the Green Lake area all his life and attended Green Lake Public Schools. He was a member of the Federated Church of Green Lake. He was presently employed by Shoreline Marina in Green Lake. He was previously employed by Norton’s Dry Dock and Bill Sandberg. He was an avid fisherman and caught his trophy 29 ½ inch, 10 ½ lb walleye on Green Lake this past February. Steve loved the outdoors. His hobby was photographing Green Lake.

He is survived by his parents, Milton and Ruth (Schultz) Miller of Green Lake; I brother, Timothy (Patricia) Miller of Ripon; 5 sisters, Joanne (Daniel) Cooper of Wisconsin Rapids, Vicki Likwarz of Milwaukee, Susan Krause of New
York, Kristine (Larry) Herrell of Berlin and Debra Reich of Milwaukee; 14 nieces and nephews, Patti, Ben, Julian and Elizabeth Miller; Todd and Shad Cooper; Wesley Crook; Magan and A.J. Krause; Josh, Craig and Lindsay Herrell; and Kelly and Amanda Reich; aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by special friends, Mark and Lynn Bierman and sons; Kenny and Georgia Ladwig; Tim and Kevin Anderson; Mike Hare; and other friends.

A Memorial service will be Thursday, July 3, 1997, at 7 PM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon with the Reverend Karen Gygax Rodriguez officiating. Friends may call from 5 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, a Memorial has been established in Steve’s name.
