Sue Ann Belter, age 65, of Pickett, WI, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, WI.
Sue was born June 5, 1948, in Sturgeon Bay, WI, the daughter of Ernil and Edna (Jacob) Anderson. She graduated from Ripon High School in 1966 and on September 23, 1967, Sue married David Belter. Sue was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Pickett. She was an accomplished seamstress. Sue worked at Loris Bridal Shop, Pranges in Appleton and Advertisers in Ripon. She then started her own business called Sue’s Golden Needle and farmed with her husband, David. Sue’s children and grandchildren meant the world to her.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, David Belter of Pickett, WI; daughter, Penny Belter of Ripon, WI; son, Keven (Allison) Belter of Neenah, WI; three grandchildren, Paul David Thorson of Ripon, WI and Andrew and Aiden J. Belter of Neenah, WI; two sisters, Fay Cochenet of Sturgeon Bay, WI and Gloria (Roger) Kintopf of Pickett, WI; one brother, Gordon (Sylvia) Anderson of Ripon, WI; brother and sister in-law, Lois and LeRoy Albright of Pickett, WI; and many nieces and nephews. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Ernil and Edna; one son, Paul David Belter; her father and mother-in-law, Arnold and Louise Belter and one brother-in-law, Doug Cochenet.
Visitation for Sue will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2013, from 10 – 2:00 pm at Grace Lutheran Church, 502 County Road M, Pickett, WI 54964.
Funeral service for Sue will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2013, at 2:00 pm at Grace Lutheran Church in Pickett. Pastor Jud Krohn will officiate. Interment will follow at Liberty Prairie Cemetery in the Town of Utica. A memorial is being established.
