Susan Lynn Fitzwater, age 59, of Ripon, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2009, at her home in Ripon.
Susan was born on August 30, 1950, in Racine, WI, the daughter of Robert and Marie (Jensen) Jacobs. She graduated from Portage High School. On May 23, 1980, Susan married her soul mate, Mark Fitzwater. She owned and operated “Our Place in Time” Antique Boutique in Ripon for 13 years.
Survivors include her husband and soul mate, Mark; one son, Andrew (Tammy) Hansen of Franklin, WI; one daughter, Crystal (Gideon Guthrie) Fitzwater of Omro, WI; four grandchildren, Melanie, Jacob, Sarah Hansen all of Franklin, WI, and Gavyn Fitzwater of Omro, WI; three sisters, Sharon Francis and Carol Jacobs of Tucson, AZ and Kathleen (Brian) Schueppler of Racine, WI; and one brother, Tim (Susan) Jacobs of Gilbert, AZ. Susan was preceded in death by her grandparents; her parents, Robert and Marie Jacobs; her brother, William Jacobs; and her father-in-law, George Fitzwater.
Visitation for Susan will be held from 1 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2009, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2009, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with Father Kenneth Guy officiating.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the hospice and nursing staff that helped to make her care and passing easier. We would also like to thank her many wonderful friends and family for their help, love, support, and prayers.
