Susanne “Susie” Peschke, age 67, of Fairwater, WI, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2014 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, WI.
Susie was born October 25, 1947, in Berlin, WI, the daughter of Clifford and Charlotte (Thom) Abel. She graduated from Berlin High School. On November 4, 1967, Susie married Ronald “Buzz” Peschke at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon. She also studied at UW Fond du Lac, receiving her Associates Degree of Arts and Science in 2003. Susie worked as a Health Unit Coordinator/CNA at Ripon Medical Center for 28 years. She was a member of the Lion Club in Fairwater.
Survivors include her mother, Charlotte Abel of Berlin, WI; two daughters, Kristin (Jamie) Gustafson of Tulsa, OK and Megan (Matt) Mueller of Appleton, WI; grandchildren, Elsie Rose and Iliana Grace Gustafson; step-grandchildren, Alexis and Elijah Gustafson; brother, Jim (Ann) Abel of Oshkosh, WI and brother and sister-in-law, Karl (Anne) Peschke of Lexington, KY. Susie was further survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Susie was preceded in death by her father, Clifford; mother and father-in-law, Gordon and Elsie Peschke and her husband, Ronald in August of 2012.
Visitation for Susanne will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, from 4 – 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971 and again on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, from 10 – 11:00 am at Terrace Shores Evangelical Free Church, W3278 County Road K, Markesan, WI 53946.
Funeral service for Susanne will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at 11:00 am at Terrace Shores Evangelical Free Church in Markesan. Jim Meyer will officiate. Inurnment will be held at a later date. A memorial is being established in Susie’s name.
