Mrs. Sylvia Elizabeth Hanson, age 63, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Friday, January 11, 1991, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, FL.
Mrs. Hanson was born May 27, 1927, in New Jersey, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Mosley Snyder. She had been a nurse for many years. On October 19, 1957, she married Elwood “Curly” Hanson. She was a member of the Ripon Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; her mother, Elizabeth of Fayetteville, NC; four sons, Craig D. of Milwaukee, William T. of Warsaw, IN, James H. of Reading, PA, and Stephan B. of San Francisco, CA; one daughter; Carole Bratt of Rockton, IL; ten grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; one brother, William Snyder of Forest Park, GA; and two sisters, Peggy Lawhorn of Caldwell, ID and Jo Richard of Fayetteville, NC.
Friends may call from 7 until 9:00 p.m., Monday, January 14, 1991, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Services for Mrs. Hanson will be held Tuesday, January 15, 1991, at 10:00 at the Ripon Baptist Church. The Reverend Robert Bearss will officiate. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Rockford, IL. A memorial has been established in her name for the Ripon Baptist Church.
