Thelma L. Sund, age 85 of Ripon, WI, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 1984 at Parkview Nursing Home in Ripon.
Thelma was born on November 11, 1898 in Oconomowoc, WI, the daughter of Gust Michols. She was educated in Fort Atkinson, WI and has lived in Ripon since 1942. On October 21, 1936 she married Omar Sund in Fort Atkinson. Thelma was a secretary at Speed Queen and a member of the Ripon and Green Lake Order of Eastern Star.
Thelma is survived by her husband, Omar Sund; two daughters, Mrs. Richard Kutz of Ripon and Mrs. John Steinbring of Winnipeg, Manitoba; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Pauline Haase of Fort Atkinson and Justine Aspinwall of Rochester, NY; and a brother, Henry Michols of Fort Atkinson, WI. She was preceded in death by a brother.
Visitation for Thelma will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, June 8, 1984 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral service for Thelma will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday, June 9, 1984 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with Rev. Allan Martling officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
