Theodore W. Braun, age 80, of Ripon, WI, passed away on February 11, 1987, at Parkview Nursing Home in Ripon.
Theodore was born December 9, 1906, in Sheboygan, WI, the son of John and Margaret (Behrens) Braun. On January 26, 1929, he married Frances Aschenbrenner in Milwaukee. Theodore was a baker employed by John Braun Contracting, Sheboygan Baking Company, H.C. Prange Bakery in Sheboygan, Community Bake Shop in Wausau and owned Bread Basket in Ripon. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon and was an usher for many years. Theodore was a 3rd Degree Knight in Watermolen #4877 Council Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife, Frances; two daughters, Celene (Lon) Kuntze of Sheboygan and Lynne Braun of Ripon; one grandson, Robert of Minneapolis, MN; one brother, Karl of Ripon and one sister, Dorothy (Bernard) Smith of Pomona, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation for Theodore will be held on Friday, February 13, 1987, from 6 – 9:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with a Knights of Columbus at 6:30 pm and a Parish Rosary at 8:00 pm.
Funeral Service for Theodore will be held on Saturday, February 14, 1987, at 10:00 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon with Reverend John Schmitz officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Sheboygan. A memorial has been established.
