Theodore Gatzke

Theodore Herman Gatzke, age 78, of Ripon, WI passed away on Sunday, June 5, 1955.

Theodore was born in Ripon, WI on September 28, 1876, the son of Christian and Ernestine (Schmudlach) Gatzke. He was a carpenter and has lived in Ripon all of his life. On February 2, 1899 he married Amanda Zimmerman. She died on December 2, 1948.

Theodore is survived by three daughters, Florence Barndt and Leona Wahaske of Ripon, WI and Mildred Boettener of Eagle River, WI; and two brothers, Harold and Arden both of Ripon, WI. He was preceded in death by his wife, Amanda Gatzke and a brother.

Visitation for Theodore will be held from 7:00 pm on Tuesday, June 7, 1955 until 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 8, 1955 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon.

Funeral service for Theodore will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 8, 1955 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon, with Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon, WI.
