Thomas J. Eberhart

Thomas J. Eberhart, 84, of Pickett, WI, passed away peacefully at Eden Vista Care Center with family at his side on Wednesday, October 30, 2024.

Tom was born on April 16, 1940, to Edward and Venita (Arthurs) Eberhart. On February 7, 1959, he married Joyce Folletz. Tom was self-employed and fondly known as the unofficial Mayor of Pickett. He was the owner and operator of Eberhart Painting and Sandblasting, but his true passion was collecting and racing cars. He was inducted into the Oshkosh SpeedZone Walk of Fame in 2017. 

Tom is survived by his wife of 65 years, Joyce; children, Lynn (Tim) Thiel and Mark (Karrie) Eberhart; grandchildren, Rachael (Ryan) Avery, Emily (Jonathon) Pionke, Chloe (Cody) Wittchow, Alison (James) Niescier, and Lucas Eberhart; great-grandchildren, Jaxson Wittchow and Elliott and Alaina Avery; brother, Art (Jan) Eberhart; brother-in-law, Jerry (Sue) Folletz; sister-in-law, Pearl Folletz; and many extended family members and friends.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Betty, Pat, Ned, Marvin, Jim, Kate, Bonnie, Dennis, Valerie, and Sharon.

Per Tom’s wishes, there will be no funeral. A memorial has been established in his name.
