Thomas Forrest, age 56, of Ripon, died unexpectedly December 3, 1996, at his home.
He was born in Tipler, WI on June 19, 1940, to Arnold and Dorothy (Maske) Forrest. He attended Neenah High School. He married Sara McKenzie on April 15, 1961. Tom had been a meat manager for 25 years, 13 of which he was meat manager at Pickn Save, formally Prescotts in Ripon. He was a former Ripon Alderman and was in charge of getting the recycling program in Ripon started. He was a member of St. Peters Episcopal Church, Ripon and was currently Junior Warden of the church.
Tom is survived by his wife, Sara; 3 daughters, Sherri (Ron) Brueggeman of Appleton, Donna (Marc) Hertig of Charlotte, NC and Deborah Forrest of Oshkosh; 2 grandchildren, Amanda Forrest and Tyler Hertig; 1 sister, Elizabeth Betty Ann (Darrell) Clough of Neenah; 4 brothers, Richard (Cheryl) Forrest ot Larsen, James (Jane) Forrest of Waupaca, Michael Forrest (spi friend Don Ditter) of New Holstein and Ron (Carla) Forrest of Neenah; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, December 6, 1996, at 11 A.M.
at St. Peters Episcopal Church, Ripon with Father Robert J.C Brown officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery, Town of Neenah. Visitation will be Thursday, December 5 from 4 until 8 P.M. at the ButzinMarchant Funeral Home, Ripon.
Memorials will be given to St. Peters Church in his name.
He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him. Tom loved fishing, grandkids, traveling, his church and working in civic groups
