Thomas G. Francisco, age 65, of Ripon, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 30, 2011, at Appleton Medical Center in Appleton.
He was born May 11, 1946, in Ashland, WI, the son of Frank and Francis (Klobucher) Francisco. Thomas graduated from Ashland High School. He served our country in the United States Army serving in Germany during the Vietnam War. Thomas later went to college and received his Bachelors degree in Social Work and Criminal Justice and his Associates degree in Accounting. He was a correctional sergeant working at the Fox Lake Correctional Facility. On August 24, 1968, Thomas married Pamela Tutland in Sheboygan, WI. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon. Thomas enjoyed deer hunting, watching NASCAR and the Green Bay Packers and was an avid coin collector.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Pamela Francisco of Ripon, WI; one son, David (special friend, Melissa Littlefield) Francisco of Ripon, WI; one daughter, Michelle (Dennis) Moehring of West Bend, WI; grandchildren, Dustin and Destany Francisco both of Rockford, IL and Davidson and Davine Francisco both of Ripon, WI; one sister, Betty (Harry) Skulan of Ino, WI and mother-in-law, Margaret Tutland. He is further survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Christine and two brothers, David and Laddie.
Visitation for Thomas Francisco will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2011, from 4 – 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr. Ripon, WI 54971 and again on Wednesday, October 5, 2011, from 9:30 – 10:30 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 218 Blossom St. Ripon, WI 54971.
Mass of Christian Burial for Thomas Francisco will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at 10:30 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon. Reverend Robert A. Fictum will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon with Military Honors. A memorial is being established.
