Thomas P. Joss, age 68, of Ripon, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2010, at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah, WI.
Tom was born on July 30, 1942, the son of Harold and Loretta (Heisler) Joss. He graduated from high school and went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Tom married Marian Benninger in Beaver Dam, WI in November of 1969. Tom owned and operated a TV and appliance sales and service business in Juneau, WI. He and Marian retired to Ripon, WI in 2005 where he enjoyed working outdoors, spending time on the porch, grilling, and playing cribbage.
Survivors include his wife, Marian; two daughters, Vicki (Deano) Pape of Ripon, WI and Lori Little Soldier of Friendship, WI; two grandchildren, Lorin and Jacob Little Soldier of Friendship, WI; two brothers, John (Betty) Joss of Neenah, WI and Robert (Arvette) Joss of Omro, WI; one sister, Mary (Ray) Clough of Appleton, WI; three sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law; and several nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his parents.
With respect to Tom's wishes, no public visitation or funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation of time or money to a local charitable organization.
The family would like to thank Ripon Medical Center Emergency Room staff, as well as Dr. Burkett and the dedicated staff of the ICU at Theda Clark Medical Center of Neenah, WI, for your thoughtful care of Tom.
