Thomas Sullivan, Sr., age 84, of Rosendale, WI passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 1955 at his home.
Thomas was born in Rosendale on May 15, 1870, the son of Thomas and Johanna Sullivan. He married May Pierce on April 12, 1898 in Ripon, WI, and she passed away on January 25, 1954. Thomas was a farmer and worked with the Ripon Produce Co. for 25 years. He was a member of the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin.
Thomas is survived by his son, Thomas Sullivan of the Town of Rosendale, WI; four daughters, Kathleen Sullivan of the Town of Rosendale, WI, Neil Giffey of Eldorado, WI, W.L. Carter of Ripon, WI and F.L. Ferzacca of Milwaukee, WI; a foster daughter, Delhart Kaatz of Ripon, WI; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, May Sullivan and a daughter.
Visitation for Thomas will be held from 12:00 pm on Thursday, March 31, 1955 until 9:00 am on Friday, April 1, 1955 at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral service for Thomas will be held at 9:00 am on Friday, April 1, 1955 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon, with Reverend Clarence Schouten officiating. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Town of Ripon, WI.
