Thomas H. Taylor, age 86, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 1986, at home.
Thomas was born November 11, 1899, in Sheffield, England, the son of Thomas H. and Mary Alice (Evans) Taylor. He went to school at Coyne Electrical School in Chicago where he later became an instructor. Thomas married Margaret Jackson Tucker of Mineral Point on June 10, 1939 in Oak Park, IL. He worked for WP&L for 35 years as a sales supervisor in Portage, Ripon and Berlin. Thomas was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Janesville, Past President for the Portage Chamber of Commerce, a member of Portage Kiwanis, a past member of Green Lake School Board and a member of Wisconsin Power and Light Pioneer Club.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret; one son, Jackson Taylor of Green Lake; one brother, Edward of Liberal, Kansas and two sisters, Dallas (James) Sanders of Liberal, KA and Bernice (Jerry) Strattor in Canon City, CO.
Visitation for Thomas will be held Tuesday, May 20, 1986, from 6 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Thomas will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 1986, at 2:00 pm at Trinity Episcopal Church with Reverend J. Robert Hector officiating. Interment will be held at Graceland Cemetery in Mineral Point.
