Timothy J. Soens Sr., age 58, of N4939 Craig Rd., Ripon, WI., passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at Ripon Medical Center.
Timothy was born April 12, 1949, in Kenosha, WI., a son to Joseph and Marjorie (Baker) Soens. He was educated at Trempor High School in Kenosha. On August 20, 1977, he married Mary Ecklor, in Kenosha. He was a welder and owned a lawn care business with his wife, Tim and Mary’s Lawn Service, from 1991 to 1996. Tim had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed bow hunting. He was a member of Wisconsin Bow Hunters Association and the NRA.
Survivors include his wife, Mary of Ripon; son, Timothy (Liberty) Soens Jr. of Green Lake; daughters, Amanda Soens of Tomah and Kathleen Soens of Oshkosh; granddaughter, Taylor “Bug” Soens of Oshkosh; Good friends Chris Luitze, Randy Norton, Jesse Washkoviak, Allan “Butch” Rathsack, Randy Flint, Larry Leu and “Up North” David. Timothy was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Kathleen.
Memorial Service: for Timothy Soens will be held Saturday, April 22, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at Ripon Community Church, 155 State St., Ripon, WI., with Pastors Paul Langmade, Mike Holba and Aaron Winowiski officiating. A memorial has been established in his name.
