Mrs. Velma D. Lehman, 70, of Ripon, Township of Rosendale, passed away February 18, 1995, at Grancare Nursing Center of Fond du Lac.
She was born October 10, 1924, in the Town of Nepeuskun, the daughter of William and Minnie (Splittgaber) Baird. She was educated in West Rosendale and worked as a cookie packer for Ripon Foods for 35 years. On October 27, 1945 she married Kenneth Lehman and they lived in the Ripon area. Mrs. Lehman was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Ripon and a member of the Retiree Club for Ripon Foods.
She is survived by her husband Kenneth, 1 daughter: Mary (Gale) Gabrielski of Ripon, 3 grandsons: Thomas, Daniel, and Timothy all of Ripon, 1 granddaughter: Nicole of Ripon. Also surviving are 1 brother: Lester (Marie) Baird of Ripon, 1 sister-in-law:Dorothy Baird of Ripon, and lots of special nieces and nephews, close relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother, Floyd.
Funeral services for Velma D. Lehman will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, February 21, 1995, at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon, with the Reverend Richard Collier officiating. Interment will follow in Rosendale Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00 until 8:00 pm Monday, February 20, 1995 at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon arid from 10:00 am Tuesday until the time of services at the church.
