Vera Hoth, 75, of Ripon, died Sunday November 9, 1997, at Parkview Care Center.
Vera was born on March 3, 1922, in Manchester, England the daughter of Charles and Alice (McNiff) Ganson. She attended school in Manchester. In 1945, she married the late Raymond William Lunzmann and they moved to the United States, where she became a citizen. In 1965, Vera married Orville Hoth at Our Saviours United Church of Christ, in Ripon. Vera worked as a waitress in her own Restaurant in Ripon for many years. She lived in the Markesan and Ripon areas after moving here from England.
Survivors include her husband Orville Hoth of Ripon, one daughter; Monica Wickboldt of Ripon, two sons; Gary C. (Sharon) Lunzmann of Greenfeild, WI. and Dennis R. Lunzmann of Milwaukee, I granddaughter, Tami K. Roecker, three grandsons, Erik C. , Russell , Ryan Lunzmann, two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Tyler Roecker, two sisters; Alice Rayner and Hilda (Bernard) Cunningham of Manchester, England, nieces and nephews, and brother-in-laws Earl (Charmaine) Hoth and Harold (Kathleen) Hoth of Ripon. Mrs. Hoth was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband Raymond Lunzmann.
Funeral services for Vera Hoth will be held on Wednesday, November 12,
1997 at 6:00 P.M. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with the Rev.
Eric Burnard officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M.
at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. A private inurnment will follow at
a later date.
