Vernice Brink

Vernice Brink, age 78, of Ripon, WI, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, August 12, 2014, to be with her beloved Ron for eternity.
Vern was born on August 29, 1935, to Arland and Hazel (Schwandt) Page. She grew up on the farm on Highway 44 that remains in the Page family to this day.
She attended Locust Country School and later went to Ripon High School, graduating in 1953. Last year, Vern was able to attend her 60th class reunion and see many of her school friends.
On September 3, 1955, Vernice married Ronald Brink at Immanuel United Methodist Church where she has been a life time member. Ron and Vernice were married for 50 years and were blessed with one son, Thomas. Vernice worked for many years in Ripon for J.J. Rikkers, Green Giant, Holliday and 1st National Bank along with running Brink Truck and Equipment with Ron.
Survivors include her son, Tom (Paula Jones) of Ripon, WI; grandchildren, Tyler (Tara Seidel) of Neenah, WI, Ashley Boe of Winneconne, Brandon (Chrissy) Boe of Fond du Lac, WI, Zach and Paige Whaley both of Ripon, WI; great-grandchildren, Makayla Dalton and Landon Seidel and special niece, Tami Conlon; three brothers-in-law, David (Vickie) Brink of Ripon, WI, Stan (Carolyn) Brink of Ripon, WI and Larry Beier of Ripon, WI and two sisters-in-law, Betty Kuehn of Ripon and Myrt Page-Schmidt of Fox Lake, WI. Vernice was further survived by many other nieces and nephews and many loving family members and friends that will miss her loving smile and listening ear. Vernice was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ron; step-mom, Frieda Page; brother, Marland; sister, Jan Beier, mother and father-in-law, James and Josephine Brink; sister-in-law, Joyce Brink and two nephews, Rick Brink and Zack Muskavitch.
Visitation for Vernice will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2014, from 3 – 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971 and again on Monday, August 18, 2014, from 10 – 11:00 am at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 401 W. Fond du Lac St., Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral service for Vernice will be held on Monday, August 18, 2014, at 11:00 am at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon. Pastor Joshua Pegram will officiate. Interment will follow at Bethel Reeds Corners Cemetery in the Town of Metomen. A memorial is being established.
The family would like to extend a big Thank You to the gals who have cared for mom the past 8 years so she could remain in her home. We are tremendously grateful for your compassion and dedication.
