Verona Werch

Verona Werch, age 81, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2014, at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon.

Verona was born February 25, 1933, in the Town of Brooklyn, in Green Lake County, WI, the daughter of Rheinhold and Pauline (Keplin) Feder. She married Herbert Werch in Ripon. Verona worked at Admanco as a seamstress for 40 years. She was an active member of Hillside Assembly in Ripon as a Sunday School Teacher and Children Church Leader.

Survivors include her step-son, Bill Werch of Spokane, WA; two sisters, Evelyn (Enos) Mantik and Hazel (Gordie) Minch both of Ripon and many nieces and nephews. Verona was preceded in death by her parents, Rheinhold and Pauline; husband, Herbert; five brothers and four sisters.

Visitation for Verona will be held on Friday, October 10, 2014, from 4 – 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971 and again on Saturday, October 11, 2014, from 10 – 11:00 am at Hillside Assembly, 656 West Oshkosh St., Ripon, WI 54971.

Funeral service for Verona will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014, at 11:00 am at Hillside Assembly in Ripon. Pastor Terry Reiser will officiate. Interment will take place at Nepeuskun Cemetery in the Town of Nepeuskun. Memorials may be directed to Hillside Assembly, Elevator Project, 656 West Oshkosh St., Ripon WI 54971.
