Victor Keipe, age 85, of Green Lake, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2009, from a stroke, in the comfort of home, with loved ones by his side.
Victor was born on October 6, 1923, in the Township of Brooklyn, a son of the late Albert and Julieanna (Fude) Keipe. Victor was a devoted husband, married on November 1, 1947 in Germania Lutheran Parsonage to Leona (Onie) Schmudlach. He worked on the family farm for 20 years in the Town of Brooklyn. Victor also worked for the City of Ripon, Washkovick Construction and for Ray Tiny Washkovick for many years. He was a great collector of unusual findings and he enjoyed hunting, gardening, bird watching, tractor pulls and traveling. Victor loved to spend time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Leona; daughter, Vicki (Dave) Schultz of Ripon; grand-daughters, Kari Schultz of Ripon and Kelly (Edward) Bryant of Ripon; one brother, Ferd Keipe ; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Keipe of Green Lake, and numerous nieces, nephews, special friends and pets. Victor was preceded in death by his parents and infant daughter, Bonnie Jean Keipe and eight brothers, William, Albert Casey, John, Edward, Earl, Harold, Lloyd, and Harvey and two sisters, Mabel Mae Georgel and Gladys Engel.
Per Victors wishes, there will be no services, cremation will take place.
