Vida A. Liptow, age 80, of Town of Metomen, WI, passed away on March 2, 1987, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
Vida was born August 27, 1906, in the Town of Springvale, WI, the daughter of Wilbur and Clara (Stellmacher) Wetzel. She was educated in Brandon. On April 21, 1926, Vida married Herbert Liptow until November 21, 1980 when he passed. She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon and the Christian Women’s Club.
Survivors include three daughters, Geraldine (Glen) Klingbeil of Ripon, Dolly Theune of Ripon and Lois Jawor of Ripon; nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, one sister, Inez Stellmacher of Ripon and one brother, Aldon Wetzel of Ripon.
Visitation for Vida will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 1987, from 6 – 9:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Vida will be held on Thursday, March 5, 1987, at 11:00 am at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial has been established.
