Vincent Whiting

Vincent C. Whiting, age 74, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 1986, at Parkview Nursing Home in Ripon.
Vincent was born August 7, 1912, in Ripon, WI, the son of Chester and Wilhelmine “Minnie” (Heiman) Whiting. He graduated from Ripon High School, Ripon College and of the University of Ohio. He served our country in the United States Air Corps serving three years and eight months in WWII. Vincent was employed by the 1st National Bank of Ripon and was vice-president/cashier. He retired in 1976, but held his position on board of directors until August of 1982. Vincent was a member of the Lions Club, American Legion Brown-Parfitt Post #43 and the Ripon-Green Lake Masonic Lodge #95.
Survivors include two nieces, Janice Templeton of Tempe, Arizona and Gloria Harvey of Stanton, California. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Visitation for Vincent will be held on Sunday, December 7, 1986, from 4 – 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Vincent will be held on Monday, December 8, 1986, at 1:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Reverend Harley C.W. Tretow officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Organ Fund at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon.
