Viola Elsie (Miller) Beuthin, age 84, of Markesan, WI, died Sunday, May 5, 1996, at Michalene’s in Ripon.
She was born February 9, 1912, in Ripon, a daughter to Henry and Johanna Witt Miller. She attended school in Ripon. On February 26, 1929, she married Louie E. Beuthin. Viola was a homemaker all of her life and was a very loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Viola loved attending to her garden and flower garden and cooking. Mrs. Beuthin was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon.
She is survived by eight sons, Louie H. (Ruth) Beuthin and Ervin F. (Joan) Beuthin, both of Green Lake, Gilbert C. Beuthin of Princeton, Vernon L. (Carol) Beuthin of Berlin, David L. (Peggy) Beuthin of Fairwater and Dennis D. (Jill) Beuthin, both of Ripon, Larry E. (Elisabeth) Beuthin of Fairwater and Gerald “Corky” R. (Peggy) Beuthin of Berlin; one daughter, Betty L. (David) Kuen of Neenah; one daughter-in-law, Janet Beuthin of Green Lake; twenty grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lily Beuthin of Parkview Care Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louie E. Beuthin, one son, Darwin E. Beuthin, one granddaughter, Barbara Beuthin, and several sisters and brothers.
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, May 7, 1996, at 11 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend James D. Mohr will officiate and interment will follow in the Green Lake Center Cemetery in the Town of Green Lake.
Family will receive friends Tuesday from 10 am until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorials will be given to St. Agnes Hospice.
