Viola Harke

Viola Harke, age 87, of Ripon, passed away peacefully in the arms of her Lord Jesus Monday, April 16, 2007 at Hilltop Manor in Ripon.
Viola was born on June 18, 1919, in the township of Crystal Lake, the daughter of Emil and Louise (Schmudlach) Boelke. On December 30, 1939 she married her beloved husband, Harley Harke in Neshkoro. She was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Ripon. She was active in Ladies Aid, W.L.M.S. and church historian. Viola loved to travel, read, cook, and bake. She lived her life to the fullest with her family and many close and true friends.
Her memory will live in the hearts of her 2 loving daughters; Gail Baker of Buffalo, WY and Lois (Tom) Fuerst of Appleton, WI; 7 dear grandchildren, Bruce, Yvonne, Michael, Kim, Bill, Tracy, and Greg; 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; 1 sister-in-law and 2 brothers-in-law; her church family; dear friends Helen and Robert Timm, Lenora Manske, Irene Semenske, Carl and Ardis Grahn, Helen and Ron Suits and other relatives and friends. Viola is preceded in death by her parents. Beloved husband, Harley on November 7, 1977. Precious granddaughter, Kara and 2 sisters, Norma Harke and Erna Sauer.
Per her wishes there will be no Visitation or Funeral Services. Her Cremated remains will be next to her husband in Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake. If so desired, memorials may be sent to: Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, 320 Mt. Zion Dr. Ripon, WI 54971. A special thanks to Sue Finch-Brown and staff at Hilltop Manor for all their love and special care.
