Viola Kurth

Mrs. Viola S. Kurth, 93, formerly of 726 Watson St., Ripon, died October 29, 1990, at Cedar Lake Nursing Home, West Bend.
She was born January 18, 1897, in Ripon, a daughter of Robert and Martha Butzin Shave. On November 29, 1928, she married Rudy E. Kurth. He preceded her in death on June 26, 1962.
Mrs. Kurth was a graduate of Ripon College. She was a music instructor at Ripon College and taught private piano lessons for many years in Ripon. She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, Ripon and was church organist.
She is survived by 1 nephew, William Kurth of Cedarburg, and 2 cousins, Karl Butzin of Englewood, FL and Olga Sargent of Sun Prairie.
Funeral services for Mrs. Kurth will be held Thursday at 11 A.M. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. The Rev. Robert B. LeCount will officiate. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Ripon.
Friends may call Thursday from 10 A.M. until the hour of services at the funeral home.
