Virginia Beilke, age 91, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Wolverton Glen in Ripon.
Virginia was born on August 23, 1920, in Harrington, Delaware, the daughter of Charles and Clara (Voight) Zellmer. She graduated from Ripon High School and went on to Oshkosh Business School. On September 25, 1943, Virginia married Erwin Beilke in Ripon. In her earlier years, she worked as a bookkeeper for the Wisconsin Power and Light. Virginia was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon. She was very fond of her job counting money for the church. Virginia was on the Decoration Committee and had decorated the church for many years. She was also a member of the Fond du Lac County Holstein Association. Virginia loved to play golf and cards.
Survivors include two sons, Michael (Nancy) Beilke of DeForest, WI and Stephen (Maureen) Beilke of Madison, WI; five grandchildren, Michelle (Daniel) Priebusch of Cottage Grove, WI, Jennifer (Troy) White of Maple Grove, MN, Ryan Beilke of Madison, WI, Lindsay Beilke of Chicago, IL and Kristin (Nils) Wyosnick of Chicago, IL; three great-grandchildren, Michael, Matthew and Elizabeth Priebusch; sister-in-law, Miriam Huth of Markesan, WI and several nieces and nephews. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Erwin on August 2, 2007 and ten brothers and sisters.
Visitation for Virginia Beilke will be held on Monday, April 16, 2012, from 9 11:00 am at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 401 W. Fond du Lac St, Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral service for Virginia Beilke will be held on Monday, April 16, 2012, at 11:00 am at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon. Pastor Paul Yoder will officiate. Interment will follow at Fairwater Cemetery in the Village of Fairwater. Memorials may be directed to Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon.
