Virginia Dahlke

Virginia “Ginny” R. Dahlke, 72, of Ripon, passed away on October 13, 2001, at Ripon Medical Center after losing her battle with cancer.
She was born on June 14, 1929, the daughter of Anton and Mildred (Lamphear) Dahlke in the Town of Brooklyn, WI. She attended Ripon High School. She married Walter F. Dahlke on May 14, 1948 in Ripon. She was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon.
Virginia is survived by her husband, Walter, of Ripon; daughter, Carrie (Ron) Tischer of Ripon; son, Gary (Cathy) of Oshkosh; granddaughter, Heidi (Lee) Martin of Oakfield; sisters, Mildred Kranz and Cordellia Davis both of Ripon; brothers, William Dahlke and Fred (Shirley) Dahlke of Ripon; sisters-in-law, Lillian Huth of Oshkosh and Alice (John) Krystofiak of Florida; also numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Chad Widlake; sister, Anna Neubauer and brothers, John and Paulie.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, at 1:30 pm on October 16, 2001 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with Reverend Rebecca A. Johnston officiating. Friends may call on Monday, October 15 from 4 – 7:00 pm at the funeral home and one hour before the service on Tuesday. Interment will follow in Green Lake Center Cemetery, Town of Green Lake.
