Virginia May Kuharske, age 85, formerly of Ripon, passed away early Friday morning, May 21, 2004, at her home at Tower View Villa in Rosendale.
She was born May 18, 1919, in the Town of Green Lake, a daughter to Stanley S. and Pearl A. (Ahrens) Sebert. Virginia graduated from Ripon High School. On November 1, 1947, she married Sherman G. Kuharske and they made their home in the Ripon area. Until retiring, Virginia had been a secretary in the Ripon School District Office. She had been a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, Ripon.
Survivors include her husband, Sherman of Rosendale; and daughter, Charmaine LaBelle (James) of Mukwonago. She was preceded in death by her parents; and an aunt, Vera Albright.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 23, 2004, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon with Rev. David A. Busker officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Green Lake Center Cemetery, Town of Green Lake. A memorial has been established in her name.
