Vivian E. Barbour, 82, of Oshkosh, passed away on June 20, 1999, at the Mercy Medical Center.
She was born November 30, 1916, in Milwaukee, a daughter to Joseph R. and Medora (Stemper) Eberle. She was a graduate of Holy Angel Academy and attended Marquette University in Milwaukee. She was an underwriting supervisor for Firemen’s Fund Insurance in Milwaukee. She married James Humphrey Barbour, MD in 1972. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Oshkosh.
Survivors include her husband, Dr. James H. Barbour of Oshkosh; 3 brothers, Harry (Clarice) Eberle of Nashotah, WI, Don (Kathy) Eberle of Littleton, CO and Gene (June) Eberle of Wauwatosa; many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Julian “Bud” of FL and James H. of CA.
A memorial mass will be held at a later date at Mercy Medical Center Chapel with the Reverend Robert A. Fictum officiating. lnurnment will be at Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake.
