Vivian Bostelmann

Vivian Carol Bostelmann, age 93, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at Berlin Memorial Hospital.

Vivian was born November 26, 1920, in Glen Ellen, IL, the daughter of William and Nellie May (Coulter) Melville. She graduated from high school and went on to further her education and received her nursing degree. On July 3, 1941, Vivian married Frank William Bostelmann, Sr. She was a member of the Eastern Star and The Federated Church of Green Lake.

Vivian always encouraged her children to follow their dreams. She loved her family and always had toys for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren to play with at family events. Vivian’s sage advice and solid values has helped her family members grow in love, wisdom and understanding.

Survivors include her children, Frank (Marie) Bostelmann, Jr. of Carol Stream, IL, Sandi Samuelian of California, Donald J. Bostelmann of Markesan, WI and Thomas J. Bostelmann of Owasso, OK; daughter-in-law, Marge Bostelmann of Green Lake, WI; her grandchildren, Susan, Richard, Billy, Kim, Trisha, Pam, Lynne, Nichole, Bobby, Timothy and Titus and her great-grandchildren, Megan, Jeffrey, Niko, Joey, Sam, Nina, Amanda, Andrew, Michael, Jimmy, Nathan and Tyler. Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Frank and son, Robert A. Bostelmann, Sr.

Visitation for Vivian will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2014, from 9 – 11:00 am at The Federated Church of Green Lake, 489 Scott St., Green Lake, WI 54941.

Funeral service for Vivian will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2014, at 11:00 am at The Federated Church of Green Lake. Reverend Karen Gygax Rodriguez will officiate. Interment will take place at Mount Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst, IL. Memorials may be given to Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 2211 North Oak Park Ave., Chicago, IL 60707.
