Vivian Feder, 81, Ripon, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, October 4, 2005, at her residence, Hilltop Manor.
She was born September 25, 1924, in Eldorado, the daughter of Carl and Matilda Gitzel. She married Oswald Feder October 28, 1944. He preceded her in death April 17, 1991.
She was formerly employed by Fabriko of Green Lake. Vivian was a member of Hillside Assembly, where she was active in the womens group. She enjoyed singing for the glory of the Lord.
Surviving are four children, Ronald (Dawn) Feder of Ripon, Phillip (Patricia) Feder of Pickett, Sharon (Jim) Motley of Ripon, and Gloria (Rev. Joseph) Brostowski of Lakeland, FL; six grandchildren, Matthew (Chris) Feder of Wisconsin Rapids, Lisa (Jairo) Granados of Ripon, Bailey Feder of Winona, MN, Jared Feder of Milwaukee, Levi (Tanya) Brostowski of San Diego, CA, and Rebekah (Aaron) Jones of Lakeland, FL; and seven great-grandchildren, Sophie, Emily and Olivia Feder; Adrian, Aaron and Tyler Granados; and Grant Brostowski.
She is further survived by three brothers, Ralph Gitzel of Green Lake, Leon Gitzel of Ripon, and Daniel (Barbara) Gitzel of Waupun; one sister, Edna Derry of Waupun; and sister-in-law, Ruth Gitzel of Pickett. She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Gitzel, and one sister, Ida Gillen.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2005, at Hillside Assembly, 656 W. Oshkosh St., Ripon, with Rev. Donald Deike officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Bluffton Cemetery. A memorial has been established to Hillside Assembly Church.
