W. Lois Zimdars

January 29, 1917 — January 20, 2007

Lois Zimdars, age 89, of 632 Hilltop Ln. Ripon, passed away early Saturday morning January 20th at her home.

Lois was born on January 29th 1917, in the town of Metomen the daughter of Otto and Rose (Wilsnack) Tavs. She graduated from Brandon High School and Berlin Teachers School. On June 7th 1947 she married Gordon A. Zimdars, and they made their home in Ripon. Lois was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon, and served in the Womens Missionary Society. Lois was a public school teacher and a homemaker.

Survivors include her children, Cheryl (Robert) Schrader of Adams WI, Rosemary Zimdars of Ripon WI, Dean (Gloria) Zimdars of Oshkosh WI, Rodney (Patricia) Zimdars of Garland TX. and one sister, Doris Smith of Ripon WI. 6 Grandchildren, William (Summer) Schrader of Friendship WI, Tamra (Darin) Kurth of Adams WI, Thomas & Michelle Zimdars of Ripon WI, Kyleh Zimdars of New Berlin WI, Zachary Zimdars of Oshkosh WI and 7 Great Grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her parents, her husband and one brother Lowell Tavs.

Visitation for Lois Zimdars will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2007, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, and again on Thursday January, 25, 2007, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Immanuel United Methodist Church.

Funeral Service for Lois Zimdars will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at the Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon, with Reverend Paul W. Nulton officiating. Interment will be held in Brandon Cemetery in the Village of Brandon. A memorial has been established.
