Wallace Carl Milbrandt, age 73, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, June 1, 1992, at Wisconsin Veterans Home in King.
He was born on July 2, 1918, in Hankinson, ND, to Herman and Adela Milbrandt. On August 22, 1941, he married Carol Ewald. She preceded him in death in 1976. He was educated in Milwaukee and attended Marquette University. He served in the Marines during World War II. He has lived in Ripon since 1950 and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Ripon. He was former sales manager of Rippin Good Cookies, owned and operated the Republican House Restaurant in Ripon, owner of W.C. Milbrandt and Associates Food Brokerage, and was past officer of Wisconsin Food Brokers Association.
Survivors include two sons, James of Ripon and Wallace Jr. of Stillwater, MN; four grandchildren; and one brother, Wilford of Watertown. He was preceded in death by one son, Mark and his wife, Carol.
Funeral services for Mr. Milbrandt will be held Tuesday, at 7:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. The Reverend Dean Peterson will officiate. Private committal will he held Wednesday at Vahalla Cemetery in Milwaukee. Visitation is from 5:00 p.m. Tuesday to the time of services at the funeral home. A memorial in his name has been established for Grace Lutheran Church, Ripon.
