Walter Jones

Mr. Walter D. Jones, age 67, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 1992, at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah, WI.
He was born December 27, 1924, in Montello, a son to Walter R. and Dora (Roach) Jones. He served in the Navy during WWII and has been a mechanic in the Ripon area the past 45 years. On July 8, 1951, he married Jean Hoyt. He was a member of the VFW Post 5278 of Ripon.
Survivors include his wife, Jean; four daughters, Susan (Bob) Ackerman of Oshkosh, Pam (Jim) Bowen of Austin, TX, Linda Jones of Phoenix, AZ, and Robin (Jeff) Patzlaff of Rosendale; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister, and his parents.
Services for Walter Jones will be Friday, March 20, 1992, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. The Reverend Catherine Carlson will officiate. Inurnment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. Friends may call from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 1992 at the funeral home. A memorial has been established
