Walter W. Radke, age 85, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 1986, at Parkview Nursing Home in Ripon.
Walter was born September 20, 1901, in the Town of Metomen, WI, the son of William and Augusta (Krueger) Radke. On October 10, 1928, he married to Alma Stobb in Brandon. He worked as a farmer is whole life. He was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ and of the church council for 12 years. Walter was a vice president of congregation in 1950 and president from 1950 to 1953.
Survivors include his wife, Alma; one daughter, Muriel (Arnold) Lamonska of Fond du Lac; three sisters, Dela (Herbert) Daehn of Ripon, Clara (Roland) Wilke of Brandon and Elda (Rudolph) Kalwitz of Milwuakee. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Visitation for Walter will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 1986, from 4 – 9:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Walter will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 1986, at 1:30 pm at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon with Reverend James Mohr officiating. Interment will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial has been established for the church.
