Walter William Schwandt, 89, of Willowbrook Apts, Ripon, died Tuesday, May 30, 1995 at his home.
He was born November 12, 1905, in the Town of Metomen, to Herman and Emma Nest Schwandt. On August 20, 1930, he married Nora Retzlaff at Ripon.
Mr. Schwandt farmed for many years before leaving the farm in 1956 to move to Ripon to work at Fullerton Lumber Co. and American Stores Dairy until his retirement. He Lived in the Ripon area all of his life.
Survivors include 1 daughter, DeLores Vossekuil and her husband, Lester of Ripon; 2 sons, Clarence Schwandt and his wife, Edna of Markesan and LeRoy Schwandt and his wife, Mary of Waupun; 11 grandchildren; and 10 GreatGrandchildren. He is further survived by 1 brother, Roland Schwandt of Ripon, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife on July 30, 1962, and 1 son, Lloyd, 2 brothers and 5 sisters.
Funeral services for the late Walter Schwandt will be Saturday, June 3, 1995 at 2 P.M. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. The Reverend James D. Mohr will officiate. Interment will follow at the Fairwater Cemetery, Fairwater.
Family and friends at may Saturday call at the funeral home from 12 noon until the time of the service.
