Walter S. Smith, age 75, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2011, at Michalene’s assisted living in Ripon.
Walter was born August 20, 1935, in Cleveland, OH, the son of Walter and Lois (Weaver) Smith Jr. He was graduated from Case Institute of Technology in Cleveland, OH in 1957. Walter received a MBA from De Paul University in Chicago, IL in 1978. He married Carole Crossley and worked as a mechanical engineer.
Survivors include his wife, Carole of Green Lake, WI; son, Steven Smith of Grand Rapids, MI; daughter, Laure Flahive of Chatham, IL; grandchildren, Riley, Haley and Jordan Smith and Morgan and Patrick Flahive. Walter was preceded in death by his parents.
Per Walter’s wishes there will not be any service.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be given to Wisconsin Parkinson Association, 945 North 12th St. Suite 4602 Milwaukee, WI 53233.
