Warren G. Nelson, age 85, of Princeton, IL, passed away on Saturday, August 11, 1956, at Ripon Municipal Hospital.
Warren was born September 26, 1870, in Arlington, IL, the son of James and Mary (Barrett) Nelson. He was educated at Normal College in Normal, IL. On October 5, 1892, Warren married Lisa Anderson in Princeton, IL. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Free and Accepted Masons and an Elder in the Presbyterian Church of Princeton.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. J. Martin Johnson of Ripon, WI; one brother, Charles of Ladd, IL; two granddaughters, Mrs. George W. Chapman of Madison, WI and Mrs. Ray Mair of Boston, MA and one great-grandson, James Chapman. He was preceded in death by his wife, one brother and two sisters.
Friends may call on Sunday, August 12, 1956, after 6:00 pm at the residence of Dr. J. Martin Johnson.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 13, 1956, at 3:00 pm at Oakland Cemetery in Princeton, IL.
