Wayne Grahn

Wayne E. Grahn, 56, of 202 Jefferson St., Ripon, died unexpectedly Wednesday, September 20, 1995 at his home.

He was born November 8, 1938 in Ripon, a son of the late Christian and Jessie (Booher) Grahn. He was a graduate of Green Lake High School. On June 27, 1959 he married the former Barbara Turner.

He served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force from 1957-1961. Wayne had been a mechanic until his disability. He was on the Board of the Handicapped for Ripon City Hall, a Boy Scout Leader and member of the Faith Baptist Church of Waupun.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; 4 daughters, Patricia Grahn of Appleton, Dorothy Crahn of York, NB, Kathleen Grahn of Washington, DC and Jennifer Grahn of Ripon; 2 sons, James and Andrew Grahn, both of Ripon; 3 brothers, Reuben (Mary Ellen) Grahn of Ripon, Aubrey (Mary Fay) Grahn of East Dubuque, IL and Larry (Gloria) Grahn of Green Lake; 1 sister, Cheryl (Dean) Berglund of Wild Rose; several nieces, nephews, cousins and his coffee friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters.

Funeral services for the late Wayne E. Grahn will be at 2:00 P.M.Sunday, September 24, 1995, at the Ripon Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Biermann officiating. Interment will be 10 A.M. Monday at the Bluffton Cemetery, Green Lake County. The family will receive friends Saturday from 3 until 7 P.M. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon and again on Sunday from 1 P.M. until the time of the service at the church.
