Wayne "Hubcap" K. Endeward

Wayne “Hubcap” K. Endeward, age 82, of Ripon, WI, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at home surrounded by his family.

Wayne was born February 11, 1933 in Lakefield, MN, the son of Otto and Minnie (Marquardt) Endeward. He graduated from Ripon High School, class of 1951. Wayne was best known as “Hubcap” to his friends and family. As a Ripon High School student, he was very active in sports, lettering in football and basketball. He was most proud of his service to our country as a Staff Sargent in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War from 1952 – 1956, and often told tales of his travels around the world. Wayne met and married the love of his life, Rose Marie Cangelosi July 4, 1956, while on leave in Hartford, CT, and they remained married for over 59 years. Until the age of 79, Wayne drove school bus for the Ripon School District and loved every minute of it. He was always the life of the party and will be fondly remembered for his quick wit and wry sense of humor.

Survivors include his wife, Rose Marie Endeward; daughter, Lori Endeward; son, Scott (Carla) Endeward; granddaughter, Kyla Rose Ott; sister-in-law, Bernice (Bunny) Endeward all of Ripon, WI; nieces, Ranee Henderson also of Ripon and Patricia (Wayne) Heidel of Omro, WI, and brother in-law, Robert (Betty) Cangelosi of Fresno, CA. Wayne was preceded in death by his father and mother, Otto and Minnie Endeward; brother, Leslie Endeward; his sister, Edith Menick and brother in-law, Alexander Cangelosi.

Visitation for Wayne “Hubcap” K. Endeward will be held on Monday, October 12, 2015, from 4 – 5:30 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971 followed by Military Honors prior to Prayer Service.

Prayer Service for Wayne “Hubcap” K. Endeward will be held on Monday, October 12, 2015, at 5:30 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend Robert A. Fictum will officiate. A memorial is being established.
