Wilbert "Mac" Mcdonald

Wilbert “Mac” McDonald age 83, of Pickett, WI passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2010, at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon.
Mac was born on December 11, 1926, the son of George and Ruth (Loper) McDonald. He was a resident at Bonnieview since 1999 and has been a resident with Diverse Options, formerly Ripon Area Service Center, since 1977. Mac worked at Diverse Options since 1975. Mac attended Countryside Church in Fisk. He enjoyed watching the Packers play, dogs, dancing, listening to music, community outings, and ARC activities. Mac was always happy and was an inspiration to all who knew him.
Mac was one of five siblings, including two brothers and two sisters; special friend and guardian Kathleen Arpke; and many friends and staff at Diverse Options. Mac was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation for Wilbert “Mac” McDonald will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2010, from 10-11:00 a.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral service for Wilbert “Mac” McDonald will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with The Reverend Gregory Carson Decker officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date. Memorials can be given to Diverse Options, 571 Fenton Street, Ripon, WI 54971.
