Wilbur A. Tesch, age 82, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2012, at Markesan Resident Home in Markesan with his family by his side.
Wilbur was born on July 9, 1930, in West Bloomfield, WI, the son of Alfred and Lena (Golnick) Tesch. He attended school in West Bloomfield and on January 4, 1958, Wilbur married Ramona Schmudlach in Auraville, WI. Wilbur worked as a truck driver and also for Ripon Foods. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Survivors include his son, Randy (Sue) Tesch of Ripon, WI; daughter, Tamara (Rick) Niemuth of Ripon, WI; five grandsons, Jeremy (Ashley) Tesch, Jonathan Niemuth, Andrew (Lynnsay) Tesch, Joshua Niemuth and Jason Tesch; six great-grandchildren, Dawson and Coral Niemuth and Gracie Niemuth, Caylynn and Max Tesch and Bailey Tesch; two brothers, Wayne (Joyce) Tesch and David (Mary) Tesch; four sisters, Lorraine Strandlie, Lois (Al Mertes) Meshak, LaDean (Harold) Niebauer and Caroline (Duane) Schmudlach and several nieces and nephews. Wilbur is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Ramona in 2002; son, Ronald in 2003; brother, Floyd Tesch; two brothers-in-law, LaVerne Strandlie and John Meshak and special friend, Kathleen Colson.
Visitation for Wilbur Tesch will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2012, from 4 – 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI and again on Friday, August 3, 2012, from 1 – 2:00 pm at Messiah Lutheran Church, 500 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral Service for Wilbur Tesch will be held on Friday, August 3, 2012, at 2:00 pm at Messiah Lutheran Church, 500 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971. Reverend Bryan Fritsch will officiate. Interment will follow at Nepeuskun Cemetery in the Town of Nepeuskun. A memorial is being established.
