Wilhelmina Jess, age 81, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Wednesday, February 29, 1956, at Ripon Municipal Hospital.
Wilhelmina was born April 13, 1874, in West Rosendale, WI, the daughter of Frederick and Wilhelmina (Berndt) Tetzlaff. On April 9, 1893, she married Henry Jess in Ripon. Wilhelmina was a life long member of Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon, the Ladies Aid, Mission Society and the Eagles Auxillary.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Clara Nimmer of Ripon; three sons, Fred and Lawrence of Ripon and Arnold of Sarasota, FL; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, one daughter, one brother and one sister.
Friends may call on Friday, March 2, 1956, after 3:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Wilhelmina will be held on Saturday, March 3, 1956, at 2:00 pm at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon with The Reverend Carl L. Stubenvoll officiating. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon.
