Willard "Bill" Marquart

Willard “Bill” Maurice Marquart, age 77, of Ripon, WI, passed away Thursday, December 24, 1992, at his home surrounded by family.
He was born December 1, 1915, in the Town of Marquette, Green Lake County, the son of William and Ida (Stellmacher) Marquart. He was educated in Markesan and he served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He married Felicia Scharschmidt on April 20, 1946, and they have made their home in Ripon since 1948. Bill was owner and operator of the Ace Hardware Store in Ripon. He was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife, Felicia, he is survived by two daughters, Luann (Mark) Belau of Ripon and Sarah Marquart of Shorewood. He was preceded in death by one daughter, one sister, two brothers and his parents.
Funeral Services for Willard Marquart will be held Saturday, December 26, 1992, at 3:00 p.m. at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon. The Reverend Ray Steger and Robert LeCount will officiate. Interment will follow in the Markesan Cemetery, Markesan. The family will receive friends from 1: 00 p.m. until the time of services at the church. Memorials may be directed to Hospice Hope in his name.
