William "Bill" Buck

William “Bill” Buck, age 86, of Green Lake, WI, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 14, 2012, at his home.
Bill was born on January 17, 1926, in Elgin, IL, the son of Roy Elmer and Grace Mae (Wallace) Buck. He graduated from Elgin High School and went on to further his education at the University of Illinois College of Pharmacy. In 1950, Bill married Jean L. Bostrum in Chicago, IL. He was a member of The Federated Church of Green Lake, Dartford Historical Association and the Green Lake Willis-Chapel Legion Post #306.
Survivors include his wife, Jean L. Buck of Green Lake, WI; daughter, Nancy L. (Peter) Hintz of Ripon, WI; son, Wiley S. (Erica) Buck of Afton, MN; two granddaughters, Korinne L. (Peter) Staples of Baltimore, MD and Talya M. Petersik of Shorewood, WI; two grandsons, Austin R. Buck and Mason W. Buck both of Afton, MN. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Robert D. Buck and his sister-in-law, Marion (Otte) Buck.
In accordance with Bill’s wishes, cremation will take place and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will take place at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake.
