William “Bill” Allen Yentz, age 90, of Princeton, WI passed away peacefully on Monday, March 3, 2025 at his home with his family by his side.

Bill was born on July 17, 1934 in Antigo, WI, the son of William N. And Alma (Jordee) Yentz. His parents passed away while he was still young, and he was raised by his oldest sister, Maxine and her husband, Gordon Steinke. Bill graduated from Goodrich High School in Fond du Lac and then spent two years in the 11th Airborne Division before returning to Fond du Lac and marrying Nancy R. Radtke on September 5, 1955. After spending 8 years working for the Kimberly Clark Corporation in Wisconsin and Iowa, he returned to Madison, WI and began a career in real estate.

During those years, Nancy presented him with 5 wonderful children: son, John Philip (Mary) of Wauwatosa, WI, son, William Michael (Janice) of Brookfield, WI, son, Thomas Dean (Patricia) of Spring Green, WI, daughter, Jean Marie (Glenn) Peliska of Princeton, WI, and son, Matthew Allen (Audra) of Sun Prairie, WI. Those 5 children presented him with 17 wonderful grandchildren who kept him busy for many years. And in turn have provided him with many incredible great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Marilyn Dekota “Dee” Yentz Leonhardt. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Alma Yentz; his loving wife of 58 years, Nancy Yentz; a brother, Robert; sisters, Maxine and Ruth; a grandson, Joseph; and a great-granddaughter, Greta.

Bill enjoyed bridge, bowling, golf, and especially spending time with his family. His hobby in retirement was stained glass, and he produced many different pieces for his children and grandchildren.
