William D. Koller

William D. Koller, age 87, of Ripon, WI, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015, at Ripon Medical Center in Ripon.

William D. Koller was born October 21, 1927, in Ripon, WI, the son of William and Clara (Altnau) Koller. He graduated from Ripon High School. On July 1, 1950, Bill married Arlene Griese at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon. Throughout his life he worked hard as a farmer and as a field man for the Fairwater canning factory. In his later years, Bill tended to his rental properties. In his youth he enjoyed snowmobiling, though Bill had a true passion for traveling with the motor home. He especially enjoyed traveling with friends. Bill and his wife have spent the past 20 years traveling to Florida to stay at their winter home. He enjoyed eating out and fine dining. Bill also loved his grandchildren dearly.

Survivors include his wife, Arlene Koller of Ripon, WI; son, Jim (Tara) Koller of Ripon, WI; daughter, Susan Koller of Culver City, CA; grandchildren, Hailey Koller and Noah Koller both of Ripon, WI; brother, Don Koller also of Ripon and nephews, Brad Koller and Marc Koller both of Oshkosh, WI. William is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation for William D. Koller will be held Saturday, September 26, 2015, from 9 – 11:00 a.m. at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, 343 Scott St., Ripon, WI 54971.

Funeral Service for William D. Koller will be held Saturday, September 26, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon. Reverend Dr. Kevin P. Mundell will officiate. Interment will follow at Green Lake Center Cemetery in the Town of Green Lake. A memorial is being established.
